Alessandra and Massimo dreamed of a simple house in the countryside. They found a large, rustic plot of land, crossed by an old stone wall. In the distance, the majestic mountains of Artà rise up behind the site.

A small house on an expansive piece of land. Our design creates a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. A sequence of spaces facilitates the movement between the sheltered interior and the wide open landscape.
The house integrates gently with its surroundings, leaning softly against the existing wall, which leads all the way to the entrance.
It is arranged around an open courtyard, slightly elevated above natural ground level.

A large sloping roof extends over both interior and exterior spaces. In summer, it provides generous shade; in winter, it allows the low sun to reach deep inside. This becomes another element in the dialogue between architecture and landscape.

The design allows for future extensions, giving the house long-term flexibility.
